An admin area built for your site

Most content management systems are general-purpose tools. They arrive with dozens of menus and settings, most of which you will never use, and a small business owner is left to work out which ones matter.

We build the admin panel specifically around your site's structure. If your site has a portfolio, the admin has a portfolio screen. If it has a blog, there is a blog screen. Nothing else is in the way. It is not a generic dashboard bolted on afterwards.

What you can manage yourself

What goes into the admin depends on the site, and we agree it with you when we scope the build. Typical examples are:

• Text and images on your pages
• Portfolio items or project galleries
• Blog posts and news
• Enquiries that come in through your contact form
• Business details such as your phone number, email address and prices

Who it is for

An admin panel earns its place when your content changes. If you add new work every month, change prices or opening details, publish articles or want to see enquiries in one place, being able to do that yourself saves time and avoids waiting on a developer for small jobs.

If your site is a handful of pages that will rarely change, you may not need one. In that case the Basic or Standard tier is likely the better fit, and we will tell you so.

Built with the same security as the site

The admin area sits behind a login and is built to the same standard as the public site: CSRF protection on every form, prepared statements for every database query and a nonce-based Content-Security-Policy. Because it is custom-built, there is no plugin marketplace to keep on top of.

Included in the Top Tier

The full CMS/Admin Panel is part of our Top Tier, which starts from €599 and includes everything in the Standard tier. You log in anytime to update your own text, images and pages without a developer.

Every project is scoped individually, so tell us what you would like to be able to change yourself and we will build the quote around that.

How the admin fits into the build

The admin panel is planned from the start, not added at the end. When we scope the project we agree with you which parts of the site you want to manage yourself, and the pages are then built so that content comes from the admin. That is why it fits the site so closely.

The process is the same as any of our builds: you tell us what you need, we scope it and give you a firm quote, we design, build and test the site, and we handle hosting, domain and DNS setup before launch.

If you do not need an admin panel

Not every business wants to edit its own website, and that is fine. The Basic and Standard tiers are custom-coded sites without the admin panel. Basic starts from €249 and Standard from €449. With those, we stay on hand after launch for fixes, tweaks and future additions, and we agree with you what, if anything, you need.

Support when you need it

You launch with an admin area you can actually use, and we stay on hand afterwards for fixes, tweaks and future additions. If you later want to manage something new through the admin, it can be added.
